- Get approved and start ordering tests for your clients.
What is the 3X4 Blueprint Certification course? What will I learn?
The 3X4 Blueprint Certification program is designed to train practitioners to confidently interpret and apply 3X4 Genetics reports in clinical practice.
It includes over 15 hours of material, more than 50 lessons, and practical case studies to help you translate genetic insights into personalized recommendations and protocols.
What genes do you test?
All genes included in our panel are listed in the sample report.
You can review the full list here: 3X4 Genetics sample report.
What if I'm not licensed and/or don't live in the U.S.? Can I still use the 3X4 tests in my practice?
If you are not licensed, or if you practice outside the U.S., eligibility may vary based on your credentials and local regulations.
Please contact us at network@3x4genetics.com with your details and credentials, and we'll advise you on eligibility.
How is a DNA sample collected? Does it hurt?
The test uses a painless cheek swab. Patients gently rub a sterile swab inside their cheek for approximately 60 seconds, then send it to the lab using prepaid shipping materials included in the kit.
No blood draw or saliva tube is required.
How long does it take to get the results back? Where are samples processed?
Once the lab receives the sample, results are typically available within 3-4 weeks.
All samples are processed through 3X4's U.S.-based CLIA-certified laboratory network.
Can I offer 3X4 tests directly on my website?
Yes. Practitioners can offer 3X4 tests through their own website, as long as orders are processed through your 3X4 Practitioner Portal account.
The portal manages order tracking, fulfillment, and report delivery.
How can I speak with current 3X4 practitioners to learn about how they use the test in their practice?
You can connect with active 3X4 practitioners through our private 3X4 Community, where members share case-based insights, implementation strategies, and practical workflow tips.
How secure is my patient's data?
Protecting genetic data is a top priority at 3X4 Genetics. We use robust safeguards and policies aligned with HIPAA and POPIA to protect patient information.
You can review our How 3X4 Protects Genetic Data summary and our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can genetic data affect one's ability to get insurance or employment?
Many patients wonder whether genetic data can be used against them in hiring, health insurance, or other areas.
The Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) is a U.S. federal law that protects people from discrimination in health insurance and employment based on genetic information.
GINA only applies to individuals in the U.S. and does not apply to life, disability, or long-term care insurance. State-level protections may vary.
For more information on GINA, we created this resource: Genetic Information and Discrimination Protections.
